Nachtlichter 1-12 is a light performance captured on video. Through their movement between stencils and reflecting objects, the few sources of artificial, constant light get divided into many new individual forms and shapes. While floating through the room restlessly, they merge into a gentle dramaturgy.

Miles Away

The music piece "Miles Away" by Philip Selway is the basis for a light performance, in which sound is translated into a visual counterpart. The visual composition is performed mute and autonomous.

The music piece consists of, in the components of its arc of suspense, an abstract story. Through analysis, experimental translation and assemblage in to the visual, a dramaturgical , purely visual piece is developed.
The visual piece explores, within the objectives of the Cinéma pur, the musicality and sensuality in the moving image. And through the three-dimensional form, the composition becomes a surrounding panorama to the viewer.
